Ermal Irene Quinn Tedder Clark passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 104. She was born in Albany, Missouri, on March 1, 1919 to Benjamin and Maggie Quinn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 10 siblings, her husband CW Tedder and later, her husband Charles Clark. She is survived by her children Steven Tedder and wife Jo; Carolyn Cover; and Richard Tedder and wife Robin. She will be missed by her four grandchildren Donald Moore, Susan Moore Hensel, Quinn Tedder-Hughes, and Keely Tedder Anderson, along with four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews from across the United States.
Ermal attended Albany schools where she graduated in 1936. After marrying CW Tedder, they raised their children at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana before moving to Cherokee County to a farm at Gould between Troup and Jacksonville. She worked for several years at dental offices and served the community at the polling place on election days. After CW passed away, she sold the farm and later married Charles Clark, moving just a few miles to Tecula where she lived until age 95. Her last years were spent in Tyler in a care center. The family will be celebrating her life at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard on Saturday, October 21 with a visitation at 10:30am before the memorial service at 11:00am.
