GONTIS - Eric Anthony, 45, Uniontown, formerly of Friedens, went to be with the Lord April 30, 2021 at The Patriot in Somerset. Born January 18, 1976 in Somerset. Son of John and Toni Lee (Kulka) Gontis. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Anthony Kulka and paternal grandparents, Victor and Mary Anne (Tims) Gontis. In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters, Abigail and Molly Gontis and their mother, Melissa Remz; brothers, Charles married to Krissi (Burgung) Gontis and Clinton married to Valerie (Flowers) Gontis; grandmother "Nona" Frances "Pina" Kulka and was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and long-time girlfriend Erin Havyer. Eric was a 1994 graduate of North Star High School where he participated in wrestling, golf, volleyball and soccer. He was in the masonry trade, laying brick, block, stone and finished concrete. A member of the Jenner Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed playing guitar, spending time with family and friends, sled riding with his daughters, cooking, and walking his furry friend "Princess Fluffy Butt". He was always a spontaneous, fun, outgoing man, who really enjoyed life. Viewing from 3-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Funeral Mass 11AM Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Rev. Fr. Aron Maghsoudi, Celebrant. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery, Ralphton.
