Emogene L. Brown, 90 of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at The Waters of Martinsville.
She was born on Monday, December 17, 1928 to the late Oran L. and Bernice M. (Jones) Dalton in Morgan County, Indiana. On February 3, 1945, she married her husband, Max D. Brown whom passed away March 4, 2013.
Emogene was a member of Eastview Christian Church, Morgan County Homemakers Extension Club, The Friendly Hearts and Paragon Christian Angels.
She is survived by her son, Lex D. Brown and his wife Mary of Martinsville, Indiana; daughter, Diana Renick and her husband Gary of Martinsville, Indiana; special daughter, Donna Egelston of Somersworth, New Hampshire; sister in law, Shirley Dalton; grandchildren, Kristie Michaud, Missy Parsons, Jeff Brown, Matt Brown, Doug Renick and Allison Renick Robinson; nine great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Max D. Brown; brothers, Robert "Bob" Dalton, Maurice "Butch" Dalton; sisters, Maxine Eden and Carolyn Lucille Thacker; and one granddaughter.
Visitation is Friday, November 8, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Costin Funeral Chapel. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Burial to follow service at New South Park Cemetery, Martinsville, Indiana.
