Emmitt A. Ray, II

Emmitt A. Ray, 51, of Davidson, NC passed away on January 8th, 2020.

He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on June 5, 1968 to Patricia A. Ray and Emmitt A. Ray.

Emmitt loved hunting, fishing, traveling, concerts, golf, friends, and most importantly adored his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved younger brother, Jason Kendall Ray, who passed at age 21 in March of 2007.

Emmitt is survived by his mother, Patricia Ray; father, Emmitt Ray and his wife, Charlotte Ray; sister, Kelly Palmer and husband Michael; brother, Mason Colbert; step brothers, Tim Porter and wife, Lisa, and John Porter; Tori Ray and their children, Jack Ray (16); Brady Ray (13) and Gracyn Ray (11); Shirley Wiggins and Dr. Toby Wiggins; and countless other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 on Friday, January 17th, 2020 at Connect Christian Church (3101 Davidson HWY Concord, NC) with lunch to follow. The family will receive friends and relatives for a gathering starting at 9:30 am until the start of the service.
