Born on November 9th,1925 in Buffalo New York. Emmit went to be with Jesus his Lord and Savior on July 28,2021. He graduated from Hamburg High School in New York. Emmit served his country proudly in the Army during World War II as a radio operator, supervisor for prisoners of war and as a Submarine Assembler.
He received a Master of Divinity from Melodyland School of Theology. Emmit was, a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was founder and president of Mountain Top Ministries of Puget Sound. Emmit was an avid salmon fisherman and author of "The East wind of the Lord".
He leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Sarah Glanz and 6 stepchildren Voni Gnehm (Chris)- Debbie HaII (Jason)- Vicky Mohler (Dan)- Valerie Lyons, (Mickey)- Jerry Lyons and Donna Rex (Brian). He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Emmit passed away peacefully during the most trying time of his life and this nation. He was well aware that Covid19 was a full-on attack and crime against humanity on not only America but the entire world. Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life and no man cometh unto the Father but by Me". John 14:3 Jesus answered and said, "I say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God". John 3:3.
Emmit will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his surviving wife, Sarah Glanz or Mountain Top Ministries of Puget Sound.
