Emma Grace Durst, 89, of Salisbury, PA, died Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Meyersdale, PA. Born March 15, 1931, in Greenville Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Clay and Elsie (Fuller) Murray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Creed Durst; four brothers, Frank, Mike, Bill and Roy Murray; five sisters, Betty Gaumer, Alma Gaumer, Wilma Watson, Norma Deal and Reta Miller. Mrs. Durst was a custodian at the Clapper Store, Meyersdale and a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury, PA. She is survived by two sons, Gewaine (Judy) Durst, Sr. and Rick (Pat) Durst, all of Salisbury; one daughter, Karen Lee (David) Durst, Meyersdale; three brothers, Dale Murray, Frostburg, MD; Sam Murray, OH; Bob Murray, Avilton, MD; four sisters, Stella Delbrook, Frederick, MD; Joann Bingaman, Oldtown, MD; Shirley Deal, Salisbury; Doris Hennessey, Claredon, PA; four grandchildren, Gewaine Durst, Jr., Adam Chad (companion, Jenny Crowe) Durst, Sherry Lynn (companion, Tim Hunt) Livengood, Michael Paul (Becky) Livengood; former granddaughter-in-law, Crissy; six great-grandchildren, Emma Rose Durst, Chloe Livengood, Trinity Livengood, Samantha Brown, Nathan Durst and Brently Livengood. Friends will be received at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services and interment in the Salisbury Cemetery will be private. Due to COVID-19, we respectfully ask all those in attendance please wear face masks and honor social distancing.
