Emma was born October 6, 1938 in Chickasha, OK to William Bryant and LaRue Lena Goldsmith Harrell. Emma was raised in and around Chickasha and Marlow, Oklahoma. On June 5, 1955 she married James Killgore and they had two daughters: Elizabeth Ann Killgore Revuelta of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and Barbara Kay Killgore Dolan of Prosper, TX. After marrying, they moved to Hobbs, NM, where they resided until 1966, when they then moved to McCamey, Texas. They were long-term McCamey residents. In 1974, Emma started work at McCamey Security State Bank. She was there for over thirty happy years. James died February 1987 and on March 2, 1990 Emma married her second love, Melvin "Slick" Duncan, also of McCamey. They continued to live in McCamey until they moved to San Angelo in 2008. After Slick's passing in 2014, Emma moved to North Texas to be close to family. She lived for a couple of years initially in Frisco and later in McKinney. In February 2021, she moved back to Frisco to live at The Cottages of Chapel Creek, an assisted memory care facility. Emma loved life and was a fun-loving social butterfly. Her favorite things in life were to be surrounded by her family and friends, play Bridge, and make jeweled Christmas balls. She was a fabulous seamstress and for 17 plus years she lovingly and happily made all of Liz and Barbara's clothes. Emma was loved and will be missed by many.
