Emma Josephine Fulton Adcock went home to be with our Lord Jesus on Sunday, January 10, at the age of 80. She passed peacefully at home after more than six years of both winning and losing in her courageous battle with cancer.
"Jo" was a long-time member of the Lake Fork community and a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. All who knew and loved Jo will remember her beautiful smile and her selfless love and devotion to her family. In their retirement, she and husband, Jerry, put thousands of miles on their cars driving to their grandchildren's football, baseball, basketball, and soccer games and were sideline favorites of all who gathered there. She and Jerry also rarely missed a band performance, orchestra or choir concert, or any of the many award ceremonies and graduation ceremonies for their grandchildren. Her children's and grandchildren's friends were always welcomed in her home and always treated like family. So many people, young and old, affectionately called her "Gran".
Jo is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Wayne Adcock, 3 married children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family welcomes you to leave messages for Jo's family and see the details of her service at: https://bit.ly/3qfqZbo.
