Board member of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Preceded in death by his parents, Rose Mae & Edwin. Survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Shari Smith Johnson, son Andrew Emile [Nickeda] Johnson, daughter Caitlin Ann Johnson; Brothers, Edmund Johnson, Gerard Johnson; Sisters, Marian Johnson-Thompson [Charles], Emilie Robinson, Eleanor Haynes-Beavers; Grandchildren, Carter and Kayden Johnson; Brother-in-law, Derrick Smith. and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Viewing is Mon 4-8p at 195 N Buffalo Grove Rd, Buffalo Grove IL. Funeral Mass is Tue 10a at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL Burial will be in Galveston, TX. Due to travel logistics and Covid-19 precautions the family will not be receiving visitors at the home.
