Elwyn L. "El" Black, 86, of Ocala, FL, passed away February 25, 2021. He was born on December 22, 1934 in Saxton, PA to Louraine and Pauline (Rhodes) Black. El was a service engineer for ITW for 28 years. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling. El and Donna traveled extensively in North America, visiting every U.S. state and most of Canada as well as numerous trips to Europe and cruises all over the world. He loved jelly beans and had a keen sense of humor. When his sons were younger, El was highly involved in Little League with his boys. He was a coach and team manager of their team and helped form the Lou Gehrig League in Levittown, PA. El was also heavily involved with American Legion Baseball in Levittown, PA. He was a 40 year resident of Levittown before moving to Ocala in 1999. El is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donna, two sons, Lynn (Tina) Black, Don Black, daughter in law, Muriel Black, brother, Joe Black, three grandchildren, Summer, Ashley, and Nicholas, and one great granddaughter, Avery. El was preceded in death by his son, Neil Black and brother, Alan Black. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
