Elwood Junior Latsha, 89, of Ocala, FL, died Friday, November 10, 2023, at his residence.
He was born June 2, 1934 in Fountain Hill Bora, PA, and moved to Ocala in 2004 from Sidney, NY. He retired from K.J. Quinn in Malden, MA. as a Technical Shoe Salesman. He was protestant and served our country in the Army. Elwood loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as playing cards. Elwood loved to spend time with family. He is survived by his wife Dharla Latsha of Ocala, FL, son Scott (Diana) Latsha of Binghamton, NY, a daughter Jennifer Latsha of Wilmington, NC, five grandchildren, Taylor, Melanie, Chaise, Connor, Samantha, and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his brother Dean Latsha, and sister June Schellenberg. There will be a Memorial Service held March 29, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, 1515 NE 3rd St. Following, there will be a celebration of life at the Diner on The Square (Formerly Richard's), 316 E. Silver Springs Blvd.
