Elwanda Wagner of Bushland passed away March 6, 2022. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 4-6 pm at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Funeral service will he held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 10:00 am at Journey Church with Pastor Sheldon DeVries officiating. Interment to follow at Palo Duro Cemetery in Wildorado. Elwanda was born November 1, 1938, in Cary, Texas to George and Gladys Gresham. She was a hardworking woman who found good in everyone. She was a loving, kind, generous giving woman. Elwanda spent 54 years on a farm where she enjoyed working and helping maintain it. Her family meant the world to her, but her grandchildren were the light of her life. She attended every single event that they were involved in. She was a member of the 10th Avenue Methodist Church for over 50 years and a member of Journey Church for the last six years.
Elwanda is preceded in death by her husband Gary Wagner; her parents; a sister Chloe Ann Rippy; brother Wendell Gresham and a great granddaughter Cydnee Frazier.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Gary Ray Wagner; Karen Brogdon and husband Don; Kenneth Wagner and wife Linda and Gaylon Wagner and wife Darlene. 31 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and many other loving relatives
