Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother, Sister and Aunt
Vera was born on August 10, 1918 in Guadalajara, Mexico, the oldest child of Rodrigo Lorenzo Pacheco and Concepcion Rodriguez, she lived in Mexico for about 8 years before moving to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1927 and than to Los Angeles, California in 1934, She married Bob Martinez in 1937 in Los Angeles, California, they later divorced, she than married Charles "Wes" Heueisen in August of 1967 in Arizona, they remained married for 37 years until Wes passed in 2005, The couple lived in Orange County for many years before moving to Estero Bay, Mexico where they remained until 2004. She was a spitfire and tough as nails and told it like it was, but was still a loving and caring person. She also had a very dry sense of humor. She loved winning jewelry in bingo and would wear them on her neck and wrist. Vera passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 30, 2014 at the age of 95. She was predeceased in death by her husband Wes, Son Rod Martinez, Daughter Mary Lou Rivera, Daughter-in-Law Carol Martinez, Grandson Steven Rivera. She was survived by her Daughter Christine Dorn, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Sister-in-Law Ethel Pacheco, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her and will miss her terribly each and every day.
