Elvarea Tate
Mama was a wonderful person, and I miss her everyday since she passed.
YOAKUM – Elvarea Dove, 87, passed away Sunday Feb. 26, 2017, at the home of her son Terry G Tate where she had lived for the past ten plus years. She was born August 11, 1929, into a family of 7 children in Moulton, Texas to the late Claude McKinley Dove and, Effie Mae Norsworthy Dove.
She was preceded in death by her parents first, then her husband, Wayne Dewitt Tate of Yoakum and, an infant son Robert Eugene Tate; 5 siblings, Claudie Mae Parr, James Ray Dove, Reina Beatrice Irle, Tommy Lee Dove and Mary Margaret McDonald.
Survivors include her Children, Dennis Wayne Tate, Cynthia Kaye Rawlings, Michael Lloyd Tate, Lana Rae Ellis, Larry Lynn Tate, and, Terry Glen Tate, and one brother Curtis Bunion Dove of Elgin, Oklahoma. Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren,and Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be at Buffington Funeral Home 520 North Avenue C, Shiner Texas, Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral Services will be held at same location Thursday morning commencing at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Ezell Texas.
