Eloy Echavarria, 57, passed away May 31, 2022 at his residence. He is survived by his wife Rosie Echavarria, two sons Roy Adrian Echavarria, Rai Joi Gonzalez; a daughter Rebeka Marlo Gonzalez; his mother Esther Echavarria; two brothers Lee Roy Echavarria, Mario Echavarria; also surviving are three sisters Mary Lou Garcia, Letty Leandro, Esther Jilpas and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday June 5, 2022 at Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home from 1pm until 8pm, with a rosary to be prayed at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Mercedes, Interment will be held at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission at 11am.
We tend to ask God why he takes our favorite people? God only picks the most beautiful flowers for his garden. Thank you for the unconditional love and the support you showed us.
