Eloise F. Jacobson, age 90, of Edgerton, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at home with her family at her side. She was born in Plymouth, WI, on Oct. 19, 1931, the daughter of the late Jesse and Irmgard (Stumpf) Good. Eloise married Douglas R. Jacobson on Jan. 18, 1950, in Dubuque, IA. Together they farmed between Stoughton and Edgerton, milking cows and working the land growing crops including tobacco. Eloise also worked for many years at Coachman's Golf Resort. She was an avid bowler and golfer and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was also a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Eloise was a strong-willed, independent, and hard-working woman, but she is also remembered as very loving, kind, and had a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Doug; 5 children: Paul (Peggy) Jacobson of Stoughton, David (Christie) Jacobson of Edgerton, Lynn (Matt Connell) Jacobson of Stoughton, Cheryl (Victor) Baumel of Stoughton, and Elise (Kevin Sandberg) Jacobson of Edgerton; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Carol) Good of Tarkio, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Beverly Severson; and brother, Bruce Good.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, Edgerton. Rev. David Nelsestuen will preside. Visitation will take place on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Memorials in Eloise's name may be made to either Trinity Lutheran Church or SSM Health Hospice.
