Elois Britt Sealey, born October 25, 1930, age 91, of Proctorville, North Carolina, grew her angle wings and joined her Master in Heaven on December 18, 2021. As a lifetime resident of Robeson County, she had a multitude of friends and lifelong relationships. Married to Thomas Sealey and widowed in 1994, she continued to live her Christian life, serving her Lord and Savior as a member of Proctorville Baptist Church. She became a cherished part of her community with her service of love and compassion for everyone she could help. Her selfless and humble nature was contagious to all she was around.
Ms. Sealey is predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Thomas Clayton Sealey, her parents, Treva and Hoyt Britt, sisters Nelda Black and Meta Gray Sealey, and brother Albert Britt.
She is leaving behind three children, two daughters and a son: Susan Sealey, of the home; Lynn Hamilton, married to John Hamilton, of Lumberton; and Anthony Sealey, married to Sherri Sealey, of Red Springs. She also has three grandchildren: Lori Hill, married to Elbert Hill, of Princeton; Bryan Sealey, married to Kim Sealey, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; and Anna Sealey of Red Springs.
She thoroughly enjoyed her family that extends with four great-grandchildren, Emily Hill of Hubert, Dylan Hill of Princeton, and Kinley and Braylin Sealey of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; great-great-granddaughter, Mia Hill of Princeton, and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
We rejoice knowing she is in her Heavenly home where she reunited with the love of her life. With tears and joy, we invite you to join us in a celebration of her life. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, North Carolina. The service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Proctorville Baptist Church, with burial following in the Proctorville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Proctorville Baptist Church or Proctorville Cemetery Association. The family extends a sincere thank you for continued prayers during this difficult time.
