Ellen Steely, 86, of Greeley, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2021 in Greeley.
Ellen was born in Burlington, Kansas to Vernon M. Sr. & Ruth (Scoggin) Smith on January 27, 1935. On December 12, 1954 in Fort Collins, Colorado, Ellen married the love of her life, Robert G. Steely.
Ellen is survived by her children, Rodney (Karen) Steely, Robin (Phil) Morgan, Linda (Dwayne) Doney, and Vernon (Dena) Smith III; grandchildren, Cameron Steely, Chris (Emily) Morgan, Jessica (Ryan) Lutz, Crystal Morgan, Michael (Heather) Morgan, April Hildenbrandt, Holly (Beau Justice) Hildenbrandt, Whitney (Trever) Hanssen, Ashton Strong, and Chance Strong; 12 great-grandchildren; and a large loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; Son-in-law, David Hildenbrandt; grandsons, Aaron Steely, and Thomas Hildenbrandt; siblings, Vernon M. Smith II, and Betty Baldridge; and parents.
A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
