,passed peacefully on June 10, 2022, at age 92, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Libby and her beloved husband of 73 years, James Norman "Jim" Yeloushan, became lifelong residents of Florida, living their final years in Clearwater Beach. She is survived by her husband, Jim, and two of her three children: son Richard C. "Rick" Yeloushan (Jackie) of Lutz, FL and daughter Susan Marie Converse (Peter) of Arlington, Va. She was preceded in death by her son, James W. "Jimmy" Yeloushan (Debbie) of Lutz, FL and her sister, MaryAnn Spencer (Carl). Libby is also survived by four grandchildren: Chris Yeloushan (Heather), Paul Yeloushan (Alison), Ryan Yeloushan (Mellissa), Kelli Yeloushan (Ron) and five great grandchildren: Austin Yeloushan, Katie Yeloushan, Trinity Yeloushan, Rylee Yeloushan, Hunter Mendez and nephew Dennie and nieces Cindy, Carlene and Chrissy and their families all of whom she adored. Libby was not only full of life, she inevitably was the life of the party. With husband Jim as a wonderful supportive partner, Libby never met a stranger. She would engage everyone with conversation and her quirky sense of humor whether rehashing stories of business, travel and famous people met or sharing her brand of dirty jokes or hokey one-liners like bidding farewell by saying "I'm glad you got to see me". And her recent telephone greetings became "I didn't do it, I was in church". Libby always encouraged everyone to go and have fun. At parties she would insist people dance and would not let the party end until everyone was having a great time. With family and friends, she never hesitated to remind all of us to "live life to the fullest while you can". And she and her husband Jim certainly did that for the last 50 years of their lives together. During and after their successful career in real estate and running three family businesses, Thrifty Schwinn and Lawnmovers, Tampa Schwinn and Lake Ellen Beach, the fun-seeking duo traversed the U.S., Canada and Alaska in 8 successive motor homes and traveled the world. They loved to brag that they had taken over 75 cruises. It seemed like Las Vegas was a favorite stateside stop where Libby was an amateur card shark and playing a round of golf was also part of their vacationing routine. Libby more recently loved playing the slot machines sitting next to Jim. Family, friends and former customers have many fond memories and fun stories involving Libby, not the least of which was her love of Christmas. During the holiday season each year, she would spend hours hand crafting big red bows for every bicycle and related gift in the stores and would stay late on Christmas Eve to make sure excited families were ready for Santa. Libby (Granny) will by greatly missed, but her bold spirit for life, grand stories and unique humor continue to warm our hearts, and will be shared at family gatherings for years to come. She will always keep us laughing! A visitation/funeral service will by held 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17, at Gonzales Funeral Home 7209 N Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL with burial following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
