Elizabeth Jean Williams born September 16, 1942, at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, died on November 3, 2022, at Whispering Pines Assisted Living Center, Downey, Idaho. Five sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Elizabeth, was an adopted member of the Mckell family, Gary, Ann, Dolores, Norma, Korby, Shauna, and Chris for over 40 years.
She possessed a wonderful sense of humor, was a devout Catholic, and was proud of her Indian heritage. Had a gift for writing poetry, and was generous in sharing her time and resources with those in need.
She will be greatly missed by the staff at Whispering Pines and Hospice: Jenell Branch, Tera Hansen, and Tracy Kent who loved her dearly.
The Bible states that upon death we are "absent from the body, present with the Lord". Liz is in the loving arms of Jesus for eternity.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
