Elizabeth Sally Ann Arrington, age 81, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on May 28, 2024. She was born January 3, 1943, in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Clarence Colfax Williams, Jr. and Virginia Elizabeth Thompson Williams. Sally had a long career as an educator. She began by teaching English at various schools and retired as a Director at Great Plains Technology Center in Lawton.
Sally enjoyed art and making wheel thrown pottery. Her passion was interior decorating, and her family and friends were able to see her talent when visiting her home. Sally was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and a faithful friend, who will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her son, Robert Morford; and her sister, Kathy Beth Cagle. She is survived by her two brothers, Clarence C. Williams, III and his wife Beth, and Craig Williams; five nieces and nephews, Courtney Smith and her husband Jason, Grant Williams, Rachael Shanks and her husband Daniel, Paige Keely and her husband William, and Emily Williams; and seven great nieces and nephews, Alexa Smith, Brodie Smith, Laker Smith, Malachi Shanks, Thaddaeus Shanks, Eliana Shanks and Talia Shanks.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the funeral home. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Lawton.
