Elizabeth "Liz" Reiser
My mom was always a caretaker, as a teenager she cared for her siblings, and she watched children as my brother and I grew up.
It is with great sadness that the family of Liz Reiser has announced her passing on November 30, 2018 at the age of 79, in The Villages, FL. She was born on December 8, 1938 in the Bronx, NY to Bridget and Patrick Murray. She loved the life she and her husband built at The Villages. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, cards, and miniatures. She loved children more than anything else in the world. Before becoming a mother, she raised her three younger siblings, Jimmy, Timmy, and Bridget Murray. As her children grew, she was a nanny to children in her home.
Liz will be lovingly remembered by Mike, her husband of 51 years and their children, Kenneth, Patricia (Trista), and Matthew. Liz will be forever remembered by her grandchildren, Emon, Tyler, Arielle, Kyan, Kelsea, Ariana, Calysta, and Mikey; and fondly remembered by the families and children she cared for as a nanny. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary (Pat), Joseph, John, Bridget, and Nora.
A public funeral mass will be held on December 18, 2018, at 8:30 am, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, Florida.
