Elizabeth "Libby" Parks Bludau, 58 of Hallettsville, passed away March 9, 2021. She was born July 7, 1962 in Victoria, Texas, to Patsy and the late Thomas "Tex" Parks.
Libby was a phenomenal woman who was a blessing to all those around her, from her family to the generations of students she taught and inspired over her almost 30-year career as a teacher at Hallettsville High School. She will be sorely missed by all her students, past and present. She played a positive role in so many lives. She was a wife, mother, daughter, aunt, sister, cousin, mentor and the best and most loyal friend you could ever have.
Libby is survived by: her husband of 36 years, Ronnie Bludau; two daughters, Callie and Addie; mother Patsy Parks of Victoria; brothers Tommy Parks (Debbie) of Sugarland, and Kelly Parks (Audrey) of Victoria.
Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear masks): 10 am, Friday, March 12, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville, TX; with visitation starting at 9 am. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
