Elizabeth Ruth Carrington, 93, beloved wife of the late James Carrington, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Meriden, CT, on June 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Sabina Radtke. She had resided in Meriden for all of her life and graduated from Meriden High School.
Mrs. Carrington was employed by Eye Physicians of Connecticut as an office manager for many years. Betty loved hosting family gatherings, interior decorating and arts and crafts. She enjoyed gardening and gourmet cooking, but most of all spending time with her children and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Fuschino and her husband Christopher and Jill Curtis and her husband Michael; her son, Kelly J. Carrington; her grandchildren, Eric and Shannon Curtis and Julia and Olivia Carrington. She is also survived by her sisters, Harriet Lauder and Cynthia Zuber and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin Radtke.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Sunday, August 1st, at 12 noon, at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden.
