Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons (Betty), 93, of Awendaw, SC, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 12, 2022. A Walk-Through Viewing will take place on Friday, November 18th in the Rev. Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel - 4129 Highway 17 N - Awendaw, SC - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 19, 2022 - 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Nebo AME Church - 5600 Highway 17 N - Awendaw, SC. The Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Isaiah Simmons (Alice), Leola Simmons, Walter Simmons (Lisa), William Simmons, Jr. (Wilhemina), Leonard Simmons (Diane), Hazel Irving (Isach), Joeann Gadsden, Betty Coaxum, Michael Simmons, Sandra Sanders (Floyd) and Angela Simmons; son-in-law: Alvin Simmons; and a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Simmons, Sr. and daughter, Eunice Simmons.
