Elizabeth June "Betty" Trumpore, age 84, most recently of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on 20 January 2022. Betty grew up attending a one-room schoolhouse in the McKendree community of Huntington Mills west of Scranton, Pennsylvania. As a youth, she played the piano for McKendree Methodist Church. She lived almost all of her adult life in Tonawanda, New York between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. She worked at Nehi Bottling Company (Royal Crown Cola) in Buffalo as Quality Control Manager from 1970 until 1990. In 1976, she became the organist for the Tonawanda Church of Christ and continued passionately until her health limited her abilities to do so. She moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in August 2018 after suffering repeated fall injuries at her home in Tonawanda. She continued to play the organ at Sullivan Road Christian Church and the piano at Holston Healthcare in Knoxville as she was able. Betty was preceded in death by her husband John N. Trumpore, her oldest son Randall John "Randy" Trumpore, parents Ralph and Bertha Banks, parents-in-law Jesse and Violet Trumpore (whom she thought of as her most precious "Mom"). She is survived by sons Quentin (Bridget) Trumpore of Pensacola, Florida, and Paul (Ann) Trumpore of Knoxville, Tennessee, grandchildren Jesse Trumpore, Autumn (Joseph) Watts, Sarah (Michael) Witt, Angelina (Zachary) Bisch, Paul Trumpore Jr., Samuel Trumpore and Jacob Trumpore, 6 great-grandchildren. A visitation at Tonawanda Church of Christ (Delaware and Summit Streets, Tonawanda) from 4-6 PM on Thursday, 27 January with celebration of life service to follow with Joe Steiger and John Tindell officiating.
