Elizabeth Ann Greenwell Catron died on Friday, November 18, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Ann was born on December 6, 1943, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to the late Gladys Long and George Albert Greenwell. She graduated from Science Hill High School and East Tennessee State University, both in Johnson City, TN. Ann retired from Wake Forest University as a secretary in the Admissions department. She loved cats, cross-stitch, and her family.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Rachel Ashley Catron-Felts of Winston-Salem; and three sisters, Carolyn Harness (Bill), Janice Mutton (Rick), and Gwen Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, at Salem Funeral Home's Reynolda Chapel, 2951 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106. The family will visit friends an hour prior to service. A graveside at Montevista Cemetery in Johnson City will be held at a later date.
