IN LOVING MEMORY Eleanor Jane Seewald White departed this world on March 1 at 11:20 PM 2022 at the age of 81. She was a caring Mother, Sister and Friend to many. Born May 17, 1940, she grew up in Beaumont Texas and after graduation from high school Jane chased her dreams at the University of Texas where she was an English Major. Married to Sherman, she had two children: James Sherman Adcock (Bo) and Edward Wilson Adcock (Wilson).
Jane loved spending time in the garden, cultivating award winning plants and flowers to showcase at the Beaumont Garden Club. Some of these flowers are varieties started by her mother and passed down to later generations of family and friends. She always wanted to use native plants due to their ability to adjust and survive in our particular climate. She won many awards over the years for her tireless experiments to grow the perfect house and garden plants. While in Austin Jane was a Pi Beta Phi sorority member and alum later. She also loved horses and playing tennis and going to the beach as a child.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Jane is survived by her two boys, their stepsons and stepdaughter and two step grandchildren. Also by her two brothers, numerous nieces, nephews and their respective families.
In her memory, a private celebration of life has been scheduled. Anyone wishing to donate to a memorial in her honor, please donate to the Capitol of Texas Chapter, Alzheimer's Association 5508 Highway 290 West Suite 206 Austin Texas 78735.
May we all find Comfort in her Memories. We Love you Mom
