Mrs. Eleanor S. Theobald

Mrs. Eleanor S. Theobald, 74 of 701 Day St., died today at 4:45 a.m. in St. Mary's Hospital.

Eleanor Mundy was born April 3, 1905, in Williamsfield. She married

Frank C. Theobald in Brimfield May 26, 1921. He died in 1957.

Surviving are two sons, Carl W. and Kenneth E., both of Galesburg; Two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Scott and Mrs. Richard (Sandy) Humphrey, both of Galesburg; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Parish.

Funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Church with the Rev. Patrick Shea officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Foley-Watson Mortuary, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
