Elaine Campbell Vernon, age 78, of Lawrenceville, Georgia died on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Sunrise of Johns Creek, surrounded by her family, after a brave fight against dementia. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Cynthia "Cyndi" Vernon Smith and her husband Mike of Suwanee, GA; her beloved grandchildren, Sarah M. Smith of Brooklyn, NY, Abigale Smith of Atlanta, GA and Jacob S.C. Smith of Suwanee, GA; sister, Anita Campbell Baldwin and her husband Wayne of North Myrtle Beach, SC; niece, Holland "Holly" Yates and nephew, Jay Yates both of Greensboro, NC; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Memorial Service Honoring Elaine's Life will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Minister Harold Savage officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday starting at Noon until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
