Efrain A. Cruz, Professional Denver Photographer, son of Cesar Cruz and Nancy Cardona, passed away with dignity Thursday, October 15, 2015 after his courageous struggle with angiosarcoma. Efrain is survived by his son, Tyler Maraist Cruz, and his siblings, Nancy Cruz Aurang, Edgar Cruz, Elizabeth Cruz-Stoughton and Monica Cruz. Efrain was a proud New Orleans native and moved to Denver, post Hurricane Katrina. Efrain was President and Instructor of Illuminate Photography Workshops. He has contributed greatly to the Denver community through his photography and instruction. Efrain was loved by his students, who were deeply touched by his passionate desire to teach. Memorial service and reception will be held at South Broadway Christian Church, 23 N. Lincoln St., Denver, CO 80203 on Saturday, October 24 at 2:30p.m.
