Edwin Wesley Wright of Austin Formerly of Menard, Texas, passed away on February 16, 2020, in Austin. He was born in Menard to Bennie and Lillie May (Bradford) Wright on June 16, 1939.
He went to school in Menard. He was involved in hunting and fishing and loved his garden. He worked as a Rancher but, he was known as a "Jack of all Trades" He also was a great mechanic. Edwin was a lighthearted, fun-loving man that was very humorous, loving to joke and enjoy life. He was a believer in Christ and was well-liked by everyone that knew him.
Edwin is preceded in death by his parents Bennie and Lillie Wright.
Left to cherish his memory are his four children, Bobby Wright of Oklahoma, daughters Donna Hartman of Snyder, Texas, Karen Hall and husband Mike of Xenia, Ohio. And Sheila Wright of Princeton, Texas. Ten grandchildren Carrie and Kimberly Wright, Travis and Brenna Hartman, Bryan and Wesley Baldwin, Mercedes and Lexus Martinez, Cierra Garcia, and Sephia Blair. Three great-grandchildren Noah and Eliana Kelcourse and Zoey Garcia and one sister Dorothy Ogden.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020, graveside at Rest Haven Cemetery in Menard, Texas.
