I was born into the family of H.A. Carlin and Ellajean Craig Carlin and my two older brothers Allen and Douglas on September 20th, 1954, in Corinith Mississippi. In 1965, our family moved to Knoxville Tennessee where I would live for the rest of my life. A few years after arriving in Knoxville, our family added a little girl named Janet. At our neighborhood pool I met this girl named Terri Phillips. Besides becoming my girlfriend, she became my best friend. After my graduation from West High School in 1972, I went to work for Mayfield Dairy where I would work for the next 37 years. Two months after my girlfriend/best friend graduated in 1974, she became my wife. Soon after we had two wonderful children, Brad and Kelly. Later in life Brad would marry Nikki Nichols and Kelly would marry Duane Buhl. I was blessed with 6 grandkids: Dwight, Kane, Sylvi, Ty, Carli and Dawson. After suffering with spinal stenosis and neuropathy for years my wonderful wife became my caregiver. Terri was the true meaning of "in heath and sickness". On February 4, 2024 I left this world for a new time of no pain. Terri, live out your life and don't look back. At my request, there will be no services. Love Wade. A Celebration of Life Service to be determined at a later date. Cremation Services of Knoxville is in charge of the arrangements. www.cremationknox.com
