ZABLOTNEY - Edward J., 88, formerly of Jenners, died November 7, 2019. Born May 22, 1931 in Jenner Township. Son of Stanley, Sr. and Anna (Percherke) Zablotney. Preceded in death by parents and brother Frank. Survived by brother John married to Mary Ann (Yuchnik); sister Florence wife of George Pluta; brothers Stanley, Jr.; Donald; and George married to Lee Ann (Rovnyak) and many nieces and nephews. A 1949 graduate of Boswell High School. He attended Fenn College (Cleveland State University) in Cleveland, OH. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War where he was stationed at Ft. Knox, TN and was an Honor Guard for the Kentucky Derby. Former employee of General Electric. Retired employee of Combustion Engineering. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Boswell Senior Citizens, Jerome Polish Falcons and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. Ed enjoyed bowling, good food and polka music. Viewing from 4-7PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a vigil for the deceased will be held 4PM Friday. Funeral Mass 11AM Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Fr. Aron Maghsoudi Celebrant. Committal St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell with military honors by Somerset County Honor Guard.
