
Edward Murphy
He laughed, he loved, he lived!
Edward Murphy was born on August, 1 1961 in Frisco TX to the parents of Mary Norman and the late Elmo Murphy Sr. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School. In 1982 he was blessed with fatherhood with the birth of his beloved daughter Erica Griswold. In 1994 he received another blessing, his be-loved son Alex Murphy. In 2007, he met the love of his life, Latisha Cald-well, who later became his wife. The two was blessed with their be-loved son, Edward Murphy Jr.
They established their home in Frisco Texas in 2009, where he raised 2 sons Christopher and Edward. Ed was a hands-on father who was highly in-volved in their sporting events. He made sure to develop their life skills so they will grow to become strong young men.
Ed spent the last 14 years of his life working as a Department Manager for Walmart Supercenter. He was well known in the community for his out-going personality and sense of humor. He was passionate about life, enthusi-astic, and had a great work ethic. Some of his favorite hobbies included attending classic car shows , traveling to Winstar, watching sports, and spend-ing time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Latisha Caldwell; his children Erica Griswold, Alex Murphy, Edward Murphy Jr; his mother Mary Norman; his siblings Tommy Murphy, Duwane Murphy, Rod-ney Murphy, and Ann Crockett; 2 Grandsons , 8 Nephews, 2 nieces and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Elmo Murphy Sr. and his brother Marvin Murphy.
