Born in Stephenville, Newfoundland, Ed was the son of Bernice Murphy Infinger of Hanahan, SC and the late Ted Ellis Infinger. He was preceded in death by his daughter Ashley Paige Infinger. He was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Air Force. In addition to working as a Corrosion Control Specialist at K.I. Sawyer AFB and Shaw AFB, Ed was a Master Instructor at Sheppard AFB. After retiring, he worked in manufacturing in Rock Hill. Ed was a man full of wisdom who enjoyed teaching others what he knew and could strike up a conversation with anybody. His vibrant life was filled with family adventures at the beach, in the mountains, and sitting around the campfire in his back yard. He was our perfect husband, father, and PawPaw.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Tina Walker Infinger; two sons, Brian Edward (Jessica) Infinger of Butler, TN and Andrew Gordon (Rachel) Infinger of Rock Hill; four grandchildren, Breann Infinger, Peyton Infinger, Zoey Infinger, and Hudson Infinger; his brother, Shaun Murphy of Halifax, Nova Scotia; and his sister, Susan Walker of Hanahan, SC.
