Mr. Edward Feld, age 75, of Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at a local hospital.
Mr. Feld was born in St. Johann, Austria on August 11, 1946, son of the late James Feld and the late Lucy Wastjik Feld. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Alex Feld. Mr. Feld was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1968-1971. Prior to his retirement, he worked for General Electric as an electrical engineer for 40 years. Mr. Feld loved model trains and would buy them whenever he had the opportunity. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he was a member of their Men's Softball League.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Johnson Feld, Rome, to whom he was married on May 31, 1978; a daughter, Jennifer Wells (Jimmy), Rome; a grandson, Elijah Wells, Rome; 2 sisters, Mary Feld and Laris Arora; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Feld will be cremated and a memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 10, 2022, in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Rev. Nanci Hicks will officiate the service.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
