Edward L. Eagle passed away November 9, 2019 at his home in Avon, Indiana surrounded by his loving family and close friends.
Ed is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley (Russell) Eagle, his daughters: Christina (Doug) Eagle Lane, Jackie (Eagle) Johnson, Rhonda (Michael) Eagle Daum and Lisa (Trent) Eagle Watts, his brother, Milford Eagle, 11 Grandchildren: Andrea (Anton) Lane Burden, Christopher Lane, Abby Lane, Tyler (Kailee Barnes) Johnson, Jacob Johnson, JD Pate, Mikey Daum, Zachery Daum, Chance Watts, Presley Watts and Mason Watts, one great grandchild, Xavier Burden. Ed was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather and friend to all.
Ed served in the US Army as well as the Army National Guard. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring at age 51. He then pursued golf, woodworking, and assisted in the building of Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene. He was also a very skilled carpenter who could build and fix almost anything.
Ed enjoyed sports and coached softball for several years for the Avon Junior Athletic Association, where he also served as Softball Coordinator. He had a love for music that ranged for 50's rock and roll to religious hymns and songs. He had the talent to play the guitar, piano, and sing. He was always there to lend a helping hand for anyone in need.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm at Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene (10951 E CR 100 S, Indianapolis, IN 46231), Friday, November 15, and 9:30-10:30 am, Saturday, November 16. Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 16, at 10:30 am. Ed will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield, IN. Services will be provided by Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ed's name to the Megansottfoundation.org, (Megan S Ott Foundation, PO Box1372, Noblesville, IN 46061) or to the Banquet/Catering Services at Grace Pointe Nazarene Church.
