Edward Lee Brumfield Jr, 70, passed away on March 31st, 2020 in Plano, TX. Born January 30th, 1950 in Ada, Oklahoma to Edward Lee Brumfield Sr. and Edna Margaret (Jordan) Brumfield.
He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1968 and was a member of the state football championship team of 1967. He attended Oklahoma State University, and then started a career with Southwestern Bell. During his time spent with Southwestern Bell, he influenced many lives and developed additional lifelong relationships. Ed grew up and worked initially in Oklahoma then progressed his career moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. After more than 30 years in the telecommunication industry, he retired in order to dedicate more time to his family.
Not only was he a man who everyone liked and respected, Ed was a man with admirable wisdom and high intellect. Ed was able to provide valuable guidance for his family and friends on most subjects while being incredibly modest. He used his wit and wisdom throughout life to help others and strengthen his friendships. His most cherished times often involved his friends and family, out catching fish, golfing, or perfecting his outdoor cooking skills. Ed touched a lot of lives... he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Proceeded in death by his parents Edward Sr. and Edna Brumfield, and son, David Brumfield. Ed is survived by his wife, Pamela Brumfield, son, James Brumfield, and daughter, Emily Brumfield, daughter and son -in-law, Julie and Eric Beichler, along with his grandchildren Davis, Adeline, and Emery, and his brother, Tommy and wife, Vickey.

He is now with our Lord in Heaven, so let us rejoice and celebrate him and his life well lived.
