Ed Brinkman age 79, of Grand Prairie, Texas, met our Heavenly Father while surrounded by family on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Grand Prairie, Texas with a rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will follow, beginning at 7 p.m.
Ed was born in Covington, KY and grew up near the family Dairy Farm in Fort Mitchel, KY. He attended Blessed Sacrament School and St. Henry High School. Ed met the love of his life at age 17, Gayle Questa. Ed worked for American Airlines for 33 years. He was an athlete all his life playing baseball, softball and golf. He enjoyed family, friends, and travel. Ed's pillars in life are God, family and friends. He instilled these values in his children and grandchildren. Ed is survived by his wife, Nancy Gayle; daughter and son-in law, Jo Anne and John Hammonds; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Stephanie Brinkman; grandchildren, Sarah, Maicee, Ryan, Madison, Rachel, Joey, Ryan and Dakota; and great-grandchild, Axel.
