Edward Aloysius Boles passed away peacefully on July 10, 2021.
Edward was born on May 19, 1925 in Akron, Ohio and was a graduate of Akron East High School. He was a U. S. Army, World War II Veteran and served in the South Pacific Theater. After returning from the war, Edward worked as a baker at the Lawson Milk Company and retired after more than 38 years of service.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Susan M. Boles, parents Patrick and Mary Boles and brothers Russell & John (Jack)
He is survived by his sister Sr. Monica Boles HHM; Sons, Michael Boles (Deborah), Mark Boles and Daughter Maureen Van Rassen (David); Sisters-in law Jean Vondemkamp and Theresa Vargo, 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. Edward will be laid to rest privately at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 1761 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to your favorite charity. Arrangements entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
