It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather & Great-Great Grandfather, Eduardo C. Perez. Eduardo went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, January 25th at the age of 87.
Eduardo was born in Leon, Guanajuato Mexico on October 14th, 1934, to Jesus and Maria Perez. Eduardo spent the first 25 years of his life in Guanajuato, where he enjoyed and played semi-professional soccer. His adventurous spirit, lead him to Santa Paula in May of 1958, where he soon met the love of his life, Anita.
Eduardo and Anita married shortly after and began their incredible life together. The two share 5 children - Joseph, Rosie (Philip), Elizabeth (Bill), Susie (Juan) and deceased daughter, Martha Patricia. Eduardo and Anita spent 62 years together, happily married.
Eduardo was a construction foreman for 33 years and a proud member of local union 585. During this time, he contributed to starting the first men's soccer team, which then lead to the first league in Santa Paula. Following retirement, Eduardo enjoyed babysitting and caring for his grandchildren, volunteering in local churches, and traveling with his wife.
Eduardo is survived by his wife Anita, one brother, four children, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Eduardo is proceeded in death by his mother, father, three siblings, daughter, and grandson.
Funeral Services for Eduardo will be private.
