Edna Brantley

Ms. Edna Mae Jones Brantley, 97, of Lillington passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home. She was born July 4, 1924, in Wilson County, the daughter of the late Roscoe Jones and Mattie Joyner Jones. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by husband Doc Brantley; daughter, Bonnie Lou "Molly Bee" Brantley; son, Mitchell Brantley; sister, Stella Eubank; brothers, James Elbert, Otis Leon, Lee Roy, Mark Jr., Clarence, Rudolph, and Vann Gordon Jones.

Edna is survived by her son James Brantley and wife Carol of Lillington; 4 grandchildren, Cheryl Brown and husband Scott of Spring Lake, Stacy Brantley and wife Barbara of Lillington, Jackie Barnes and husband Larry of Angier, Monica Ritchie and husband Jay of Ft. Worth, TX; several great-grandchildren; brother, Connie Jones and wife Marian of Godwin; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for the immediate family at Westview Cemetery.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
