Edmund M. LeBoeuf, 90, of Manchester, NH died April 28, 2023.
Born in Webster, MA on December 3, 1932, he was the son of Edmund and Eva (Chauvin) LeBoeuf.
He was raised and educated in Manchester, NH graduating from Manchester High School West, Class of 1950. He attended St. Anselm College before joining the Air Force. He served from 1951-1955 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Nancy Connors, in 1955 and they were married for sixty-seven years.
Ed became a Police Officer with the Manchester Police Department in 1956, rising through the ranks to Deputy Police Chief of the Detective Division. In addition to being an excellent Police Detective and raising a large family, he managed to complete his degree in Criminal Justice at St. Anselm College in 1976. He proudly completed the FBI Academy in 1973. He retired from Manchester Police Department in 1985, at which time he became an investigator for the New Hampshire Public Defender. Oh, the stories he had and we all will miss hearing them. In his retirement, he and Nancy spent time antiquing, amassing a vast collection of paperweights and attending auctions. He often said in his final days that he had a great life and had no regrets.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy C. LeBoeuf. She died July 11, 2022. He was also predeceased by a son, Thomas LeBoeuf; his brother, Francis; and sisters, Antoinette and Patricia.
Family members include seven children, Deborah LeBoeuf Koczela and her husband, Jeffrey, of Augusta, GA, David LeBoeuf and his wife, Debbie, of Ferndale, CA, John LeBoeuf and his wife, Jan, of Manchester, Joanne Chabot and her husband, George, of Goffstown, NH, Michael LeBoeuf and his wife, Sharon, of Tampa, FL, Mary Duval and her partner, Mark Campbell, of Hooksett, NH, and Richard LeBoeuf and his partner, Linda Do, of St. Petersburg, FL; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Doris Corsberg of Fayetteville, NC; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Calling hours are Monday, May 8, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM at Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, with a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker Street, Manchester, NH.
Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
