Her service will be livestreamed on our website. Edith went home into the arms of her loving savior and her husband, Clarence on December 3. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm, Monday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St.
Edie was born on February 26, 1932 to LeRoy and Louella Schwatka. She met her husband Clarence at a barn dance and they were married July 28th, 1949. Edie and Clarence had three children. Edie loved her family and her friends. Any time her family had an event going on, she made sure to be there. Edie made lots of friends working at the Sonshine Shop Bookstore in Fargo and then at Herbergers in Aberdeen. You could not go anywhere with her without someone recognizing her and she loved to take the time to chat.
Her faith was precious to her, she loved sharing her love of the Jesus with everyone she met. Many friends looked up to her as mentor and a teacher. She loved being part of her church community, especially teaching young girls about Jesus through the prims program. Edie was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her children, Ted Wilt, Cliff (Ana) Wilt, and Jeanette (Paul) Stock; grandchildren, Karina (Jerry) Baublits, Tina (Scott) Brown, Jenny (Pat) Lambl, Desiree Dickinson, Theodore B.
