Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Lee Whitfield, Jr., 48, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1 PM at the Greater Victory Temple at 511 North Franklin Street in Dublin. Reverend Prenis Edmond will officiate, and Prophetess Tracie Holliman will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.
Eddie Lee Whitfield, Jr., was born on Thursday, November 1, 1973, in Dublin to Jacqueline Louise Foreman and Eddie Lee Whitfield, Sr. Mr. Whitfield retired after 28 years as a truck driver. He has worked for the teamsters since 2017. Eddie’s greatest pleasure was spending time with family and creating favorable memories.
Mr. Whitfield passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Louise Foreman, his father, Eddie Lee Whitfield, Sr., and by his daughter, Elexraia Moet Cross.
Mr. Whitfield is survived by his stepmother, Patricia Ann Whitfield, and his stepfather, John Lewis Foreman, both of Dublin, three daughters, Kianna Azalea (Samuel) Whitfield of Atlanta, Teyana Quanisha Whitfield, Detayja Kahnya Cross, both of Dublin, and two grandsons, Justin Ezaveus Jones, Jr., of Dublin, and Karter Ezekiel Height of Atlanta, siblings, four brothers and four sisters, Chiquita Smith, Anthony (Alecia) Whitfield, Tekeila (Nicko) Whitfield, Christopher (Patricia) Whitfield, Latoya Whitfield, Sharida (Barry) Arline, Jonathon Whitfield, and Chadrick (Dysha) Whitfield, all of Dublin, and his aunts, Evelyn Whitfield, Connie (Jack) Foreman, Delores (Willie) Rozier, Lorie Mae Jackson, all of Dublin, and uncles, Willie Frank (Judy) Smith, Amos Smith and Tony Smith of Dublin, best friend/brother, Kawoski McCloud of Atlanta. He will be missed by all of these and by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
