Eddie R. Mayse

Eddie R. Mayse, age 77, of Camden,

New Jersey passed away on Thursday, August 25,

2022. He was a loving husband, father, brother,

uncle and friend.

Eddie was born in Ironton, Ohio on June 20,

1945. He attended Iron River High School in Iron

River, Michigan. Upon graduation, Eddie enlisted

in the US Air Force in 1965. He proudly served

as a Sergeant and an Aircraft Mechanic Specialist

during the Vietnam War, often working on the

C-130 Hercules. After being honorably discharged,

he was then a member of the US Air Force Reserves.

He was also a long time member of the VFW Post

3620 in Gloucester City, NJ. Eddie worked for the

Camden Housing Authority for over 30 years,

retiring as the Supervisor of Maintenance Repair.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen,

his daughter's Stephania Mayse (Robert Rullan),

Cynthia Grater (Christopher Grater), grandson

Dereck Grater, his brother David Johnson (Linda Johnson)

of Wisconsin, his brother and sister-in-law's, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Eddie will be held on

Saturday, September 03, 2022 from 10:00 am to

11:00 am at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, 226 West

Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108. A private

interment will be held at the Camden County

Veterans Cemetery at Harleigh.
