Earl Gene Barton, 88, formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma, died April 15, 2022, at Prince William Medical Center, Manassas, Virginia after a lengthy illness. He was a pharmacist at Earl Drug and Earl Drug West until his retirement. Barton was known for his love of vegetable gardening, golf, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the Dallas Cowboys. He cared deeply about his family, his friends, and his country. Barton was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Waldren Barton and Lois Lyons, and his three siblings. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn Barton of Woodbridge, Virginia; two daughters, Nancy Barton of Lawton, Oklahoma and Cindy Allen of Woodbridge, Virginia; two grandchildren, Laura Allen Jordan (Chad Jordan, husband) of Macungie, Pennsylvania and Brian Allen (Rachel Allen, wife) of Arlington, Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Jack Allen and Ben Jordan. The memorial service and interment will be held in Lawton, Oklahoma at a later date to be determined
