Macon, GA- Dwight Randall (Buddy) Ogles passed away on September 7, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street at 2PM with Pastor Haynes Martin officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 1PM at Hart's Mortuary.
Buddy is predeceased in death by his wife, Glenda Johnson Ogles; parents, Robert Chalmers and Annie Laurie Ogles; and siblings, Jeanette Pulido; Bill; Harry Scott; Henry; Robert; and David Ogles.
Buddy was a good person with a strong sense of right and wrong and great values. He was never interested in material things in life, but he set his goals on family and work. Buddy was married to the love of his life and sweetheart, Glenda, for 46 years. He loved working with his hands. Buddy served his country proudly as a Marine and then as a civil service worker at Warner Robins Air Force Base. Buddy has now completed the circle of life as he has been reunited with Glenda.
Buddy is survived by his son, Paul Ogles (Kristen) of Lizella; son, Michael Ogles (Amy) of Macon; sisters, Betty Ogles; Alma (Bobby) Posey; Kattie Davis; Laura Jean (Tony) Renfroe; grandchildren, Jonathan; Thomas; Sara; Michael; Rebecca; great-grandchild, Melina; sister-in-law, Janet (David) Pritchett.
Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
