Was called home to the Lord after a brief illness on Monday March 14, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Joyce (Nee Hau) for 60 years. Loving father of six children: Christopher (Margaret), Mary Margaret, Jennifer Higgins, (Dan), Daniel (Pam), Amy Fisher (Paul), Patrick (Jodi). Dear grandfather of 16 grandchildren: Carolyn (Isaac) Jansen, Marta, Eleanor, Colin, Meghan, Annie, Catherine, Claire, Allison, Molly, Matthew, Lauren, Sam, Hannah, Jack, and Charlie. Brother of Leonard, brother-in-law to Norine. Reunited in heaven with parents, Theodore and Regina Keller and siblings: Mildred (Carl) Bultman, Kenneth and Maurice as well as many dear friends.
Tedd attended the University of Evansville and received his medical degree from Marquette Medical School in 1961. He practiced radiology in Valparaiso Indiana, Menomonee Falls and Kenosha Wisconsin. He was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wauwatosa since 1967 but could also be found at several other local parishes for adoration or daily mass.
He was a lifelong learner who enjoyed history, reading, movies and sports especially Marquette basketball. He was known to frequently relive Marquette's 1977 national championship.
Despite the physical limitations imposed upon him by contracting polio at age 11 he did not allow this to define him. Whether he was assisted by a cane, braces or a scooter he traveled the US, Europe, Asia and New Zealand. He was a fixture at his children's and grandchildren's sporting and theater events.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church 12130 West Center Street, Wauwatosa on Monday March 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM, preceded by visitation starting at 9:00 AM. The family will host a gathering immediately after the mass at Alioto's 3041 North Mayfair Rd.
Tedd was devoted to prayer and silent acts of charity. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Capuchin Community Services https://www.capuchincommunityservices.org/ways-to-help/donations or Eye Witness for Life https://eyewitnessforlife.org/
